Submission of speeches and posters for the Annual Meeting Trier 2021

The submission of lectures and posters to the topics of the sessions will be carried out by the electronic Abstract-Managementsystem of the company Conftool on behalf of F&U confirm.

Until the 15th of March, 2021 lectures and posters may be hand in by this online procedure. The first step is the registration process: This will be done under „Zum ersten Mal hier?


In the following progress you have to log in as „registrierte*r Benutzer*in (registered user)“. You may hand in as registered user on your account your papers as well the registration for the confenrece. This will be a separated process, but each presenter (first author) has to register for the conference. You will get an automatic reply after your succesfull action (account,  submission, conference registration). Please have a look into your spam folder if you haven't got an email after your action. Check your email adress.

In your account you have an overview of your personal data and the actions you have taken, here you can also download registration confirmations and invoices. You can change your entries until the end of the submission deadline. After that, this is no longer possible, the contributions then continue internally for evaluation.



In a first step, please select whether you want to submit the abstract for a lecture or for a poster presentation. Below you can enter the abstract text, authors and their institutions. The submitter is also the contact person at the same time. The data of first and all co-authors must be completed in detail.

The length of the abstract is limited to a total of 350 words.

When submitting, a "copyright license agreement" must be confirmed in step 1, otherwise no submission is possible. In this, you assure that you are the author of the work and presentation, or that you have sufficient rights of use in the case of third-party material. Furthermore, as the organiser of the annual meeting, you grant the DBG the right of use of the work in connection with the conference.
In step 2, you have the opportunity to review your submission. To correct, click "Back to Step 1". If everything is to your satisfaction, it is essential to click "Complete Submission" so that the submission process is actually completed and the abstract is uploaded to the database.

Deadline: 15 March 2021

According to the statutes, each member of the DBG is entitled to submit a lecture or a poster presentation as a first author. The first mentioned member of the author list of a post is considered the first author. As co-author, each member may also appear as often as desired.

Mandatory way of registering contributions:

The abstracts are submitted exclusively online via the conference registration system mentioned above.
It is not possible to register through the Presidents of the Commission. The Chairmen of the Commission decide on the acceptance as a presentation or poster in the corresponding session, AG meeting, etc.
On the basis of the commission chairmen's proposals for the organisation of their meetings, a working group set up by both boards of directors shall put together the final programme.
Exceptions to this rule are not possible!
