German Soil Assessment and Soil Evaluation
Working group German soil assessment (Bodenschätzung) and soil evaluation
Soil evaluation to address a wide variety of issues is a challenging interdisciplinary task.
The German soil assessment (Bodenschätzung) has a long-standing tradition as an evaluation procedure for soils suitable for agricultural use. The data collected for soil assessment purposes is of great importance and becoming ever increasingly important, as can be seen for example in the evaluation of the soil functions.
The working group German soil assessment (Bodenschätzung) and soil evaluation intends to promote the exchange of experience and the discussion of results between all those involved in soil evaluation and site assessment.
